Jill Vejnoska wrote an amazing article about Faithful Fish and the “Dare to Wear Your Faith” campaign. Campus Crusade for Christ International - July, 2008 – Chelsea and her mom spent more than two weeks in Austria ministering to high school students. Chelsea’s passion (besides fashion) has always been basketball and she was able to use her skills to work with high school students. This trip was very rewarding–being able to use sports as an outreach allowed Chelsea to relate to the teens on their level. She and her mom developed lasting relationships with some of the girls and even had one visit them in Atlanta! She can’t wait to return next year! (See our Photo Album for pictures)
A side note–the majority of the population in Austria is Christian in name, but with no meaningful link with any church. The relationship between the state and the Catholic/Reformed Churches is defined in the constitution. Legislation restricts the rights and privileges of smaller religions.
